Carole Lanham has published one novella and twenty-four short stories, a
number of which have been collected in her first book The Whisper Jar. She is a monthly contributor to
Storytellers Unplugged, a founding member of the Myriads Though Bright Writing Group, and has won
several awards and contests for her short fiction. Her latest projects include The Reading Lessons, a
women’s fiction novel set during the Great Depression, and The Drop That Floods the Bucket, the amazing
true story of a man who was a mile from ground zero when Fat Man detonated over Nagasaki. Carole lives
in the St. Louis area with one husband, two children, and a very large pile of aprons.
